    To be pillars of salt not this hand holding sand
    Our places are bound but time shifts where we stand
    Eyes in the half light are part blind to the day
    Once nimble fingers in the dark now tremble when they pray
    Wrapped in a scent, a soul traded for a night
    Empty beds are colder in dawns breaking light
    A garment long lost holds memories lost key
    Death dictates in life but in dreams we live free.
