    was just wondering whats computer science and information technology like in galway. i really want to go to nuig also whats corrib villiage like for 1st years?

    thank a bunch, was just wondering though is it hard maths? i was doing higher but dropped to ordinary to much of a risk failing.

    About 75% of our class did pass maths for the Leaving Cert. You'll be fine :)

    Applied maths is the maths you use to solve real world problems. Good bit of differentiation and integration involved among other things, it's a very broad subject. I don't know the depth they go into in the CS&IT course though.

    It's not on the course. There is Maths-Physics in 2nd Year, but it's only a one-semester module.
