Chimney / Stove question

I am in a two story house and want to install a stove with a back boiler. The problem is there is no existing fireplace in the location I want the stove. Is it possible to install a stove using a different type of chimney preferably one that does not require me busting out the floor slab to build it.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
    Thanks
