The Cardinal Tetra's odd behaviour started 4 days ago. As you observe in the you tube video clip, there is a twist in his body and the nose is down and appears to be struggling. He has been resident for 2 months along with 9 others. Water is within parameters. Has anyone seen this before and any advice appreciated.

Never seen anything like that before. Maybe it was physically injured some how as he looks healthy otherwise.

Looks like his back is broken. Poor sod.

As his undiagnosed condition deterioated and he was rejected by the other Cardinals, his solo voyage was brought to an end. Euthanised with clove oil, his short life came to a peacefull end. Not sure what I'v learned from this.
