    Thanks, but is there a way of seeing if houses have been sold in a particular area recently

    If you go into: http://collapso.net/search.html you can choose the county and then the region you are interested in. It seems to update every couple of days and I find it very useful to keep track. It will show you the most recent change in price, the old prices and how long the property has been on the market. Hope that is what you meant ....
