Turning pc on remotely

    Is there any way of turning a pc on remotely? As opposed to pushing the on button.i can control it remotely with my phone when its on, but I cannot turn it on remotely.

    Have a google for "Wake On Lan". Plenty of free apps out there for this.

    If you have that enabled in the bios you can turn the pc on remotely using Logmein (even the free account lets you do this).

    I use Unified Remote on my android phone to do it, it works perfectly when I am in the house but cannot get it to work from external networks after around 30minutes off the network...

    Some PC's seem not to like it though, I couldnt get my old computer to wake for love nor money :P
