Mortar Mix for Stone Wall

I have a stone wall made up of large stones placed on top of each other but without any mortar/cement etc. It is about a metre high.
The wall has been knocked over in places by children playing and I would like to put something there to hold the stones in place.

Any suggestions what mix to use for this application?
