I have 2 Sky+HD boxes on a proper sub but I also have a SkyHD box without a sub. How can I reset the SkyHD box to get the uk channels on it instead of the Irish.

It's actually a HD box not a plus HD box. I've tried a software update. Box reset. I was going to try a new install but I need a card for that.

Doesn't matter if it's a +HD box or the 'standard non recording' HD box as it will remain stuck on the Irish EPG.

Buy a ftv card from Adverts.ie or simply use the Contact Us page on Setanta.Com to order one for free.Pop it in & DON'T ring anyone to activate it & viola you get the UK EPG with a couple of extra channels that aren't FTA as a bonus.

try putting the irish card into the HD box upside down and then do a reset ie turn off unplug from wall, wait 5 mins, plug back in and wait for a few mins, turn on with remote.

Just on this point, would they (Setanta) not look for the card back again if it's not activated?

They order it from Sky so technically the card is the property of Sky.I doubt very much they'd ask for it back, they're not getting mine back anyway.
