This is probably a silly question. But I was thinking of applying for a job in Boots - Health Care Advisor. Iv only ever worked in retail before this and just finished college, having studied humanities. Im looking for work to save for my postgrad, so I have no background in pharmacy or healthcare. could I still apply for this job. from what i looked up, its serving behind the counter ect. Not precriptions. just wondering if anyone could advise me. thanks.

Yes u can. i did the exact same i only had retail and customer service exp. and i got a job as an otc. most places wil b trainin u anyways their own way and about products etc. so as long as u stress ur customer exp from workin in retail u stand a great chance. that is mainly what they look for.
    good luck!!!

Boots Pharmacies are rotten to work for. Keep away from them if you can.
