+ 1 on the pump , try wiring it into a 3 pin plug with a 3amp fuse and see if it blows that

There is no internal pump, there's a separate external circulating pump, wired separately and its working fine.

Wired to where ..... The boiler

Fan, pump, gas valve, are usually the only things that will blow the fuse, pump maybe running fine but may still be shorting when running (water onto the windings etc)

Mugser, if your not RGI registered, you should not be doing DIY with your gas boiler.

Replacing a 1amp fuse with a 3amp is putting the PCB at risk also.

Only used a 3A cos I didn't have a 1A to hand, twas either that or stay cold. There's a 1A back in it now.
Fan is a bit noisy so am fairly confident that's the issue, need to source a replacement now.

Ok, once you fit the fan, how to you plan to test it?
Do have a flue gas analyser?
If the fan is noisy, the bearings are shot and yes this most likely causing you problem, but fixing it DIY if not qualified you can easily cause serious issues to occur that you have neither the equipment or knowledge to test. Do not attempt yourself.

So why ask what we thought it might be ??? , the fans are easy to get, but you don't have to worry bout finding one as your rgi installer will pick it up when fitting it , correct ??

Don't presume to think you know what knowledge I do or do not have

Thought maybe someone might have a link to a supplier:confused:

If you had knowledge you would easily know where to source a very common part!

We do try help, but we do not condone illegal and dangerous DIY work on gas appliances.

If you do have the correct training and qualifications, why not say so?

No need to presume as the questions your asking were simplistic and should not be asked by someone working with boilers.
