Womens Leather Jacket

I am looking to buy a good quality womens leather jacket and don't mind paying for the quality but I am not sure where is the best places to look.

I want one to the waist that will look well with trousers / jeans skirts and dresses

I would like to think it might have bit of detail on it as in maybe zip at end of sleeves, or nice detail on breast pocket. Also I would consider if it had slight elastic at end of sleeve or bottom of waist. So far I am thinking of black but may consider brown also....

I would really appreicate some good recommendations for a leather jacket or other advise on it. I would like to spent a good bit on it for quality and one that I would have for years to come....

Bump for same question. The only jackets I can find in a cut I like are cheap and cheerful imitation leather, but I'd like to pay a bit more for something I can keep for a while.

I was in TopShop with the missus at the weekend and they had a few very nice looking jackets. She has several already but I was quite tempted to get her another.

Oasis are always good for leather Jackets and really good quality

I got one about 4 yrs ago in Oasis, it cost over 200euro but it still looks really well

If you really are looking for a good leather jacket,try karen millen (either in arnotts or bts,or bt2 etc) for them,they have the best cuts of leather and the zip detail and breast pocket detail you are looking for,they have them in various styles all very well fitted and tailored..all saints are great too,they have some great ones in topshop too..I would shop around in other stores like those all leather shops you can come across some jewels in there,so dont be put off by them and you can walk out with it far cheaper too..

Looking for a leather jacket myself at the moment and tried on a gorgeous black one in Oasis last week - it's 210e at the moment so I'm hoping maybe it will go down in a sale but I'm never very lucky when it comes to actually getting what I want in a sale cos I usually forget I've seen something by the time the sale actually comes around!!

I think you'd be waiting a while for that to go into sale, as it looks like winter stock for the coming season. Also, you wouldn't be sure they'd have your size! Do you know anyone with a student card that could get it for you? They do a 10% discount. It's a gorgeous jacket.

I picked up my leather jacket in a Topshop sale, it was the only one they had left by the time the sale came around. It was half price at €100.

Try TK Maxx, I got a lovely one last year and it only cost me €60. Not sure what they have in stock at the mo but worth a gander.

Yeah I know that's the risk you take - that the size is gone!! I'm thinking then would it be worth buying if I was gonna get a lot of wear out of it?? Probably would....:pac:
