Been following Lucky William and Foildubh since they were 2nd and 3rd behind Days Hotel who is supossed to be as highly regarded as Sizing Europe. Looking at Lucky William yesterday Foildubh should have a great chance.

The PP money back makes backing Rubi Light very interesting.

I think On the Fringe has a serious chance.

    Also Une Artise

A lot of horses running 2nd time this week are doing well. China Rock came in from 33s. Was 60s on exchange.

There was a few horses fighting for space, hence the inquiry. Geraghty wasn't too happy with A Lynch afterwards. He gave him a right mouthful.

I was backing him at 33s but it changed to 20s. Still handy money.

    had a 10win trixie done
    imperial monarch 7/4 1st
    goregeous sixty 15/2 2nd
    drive time 8/1. 1st

247.50 returned would have been 3350 if gorgeous sixty had a won. cant complain really nice profit with the double. but youd swear ruby had it and to be done by a 33-1 that according to the trainer that only ran for the craic!

Only got to watch the Gold Cup now. I'm delighted for China Rock. It was a real buzz to see him come there upsides Quel Esprit so comfortably. He really put his heart into it today and for once in a rare old time it worked out for him in a grade 1. This is the kind of feeling that reminds me that I'm not just a punter but a genuine fan of racing. Also a great advertisement for running a horse twice in a week at a festival when some people would object. If the trainer thikns the horse can handle it then he should be allowed take his chance. Was it the run earlier in the week that had him in such great form? Who knows.

Delighted for the horse and as always loved the final commentaries from Gerry Hannon -
and this is the real China Rock he's won it for Barry Geraghty

Great run also from Follow The Plan, also very happy that Oliver McKiernan's horse is maintaining his form.
