Hi guys, Tried playing the girl with dragon tattoo on my HDTV via hdmi cable,played fine but alas no sound!:confused:Any ideas? Selig

Right-click on sound devices on the bottom right and click playback. Does it say something like HDMI set to default?

Is this a DVD or did you download it?

What are using to play it?

Try VLC.

Downloaded it,playing with VLC.Right clicked sound icon,clicked playback devices.No sign of hdmi set to default,set of speakers set as default.Should I connect up to TV and see if hdmi cable recognised?Bit strange as an alternative Philips HD TV plays it perfectly.
