stocking rate for commonage same as normal?

    anyone know this? I want to know because of single farm payment and lady at teagsc said she didnt think it was but would have to check. Never got back to me.

    Depends on whether Commonage has a destocking rate due to Commonage Framework plan. If no destocking was required then commonage treated same as fenced land for stocing calculations.

    However if you were reduced in sheep numbers due to framework plan then that stocking level still applies. N.P.W.S. are in the process of reviewing the destocking figures but no cahnge announced yet.
