hrv and stoves

    hey there....house being plastered on inside and have air tightness done and hrv system installed..time to start thinking about stoves and i think i need room sealed stoves or external air supplied stoves..need some help on this issue as is a grey area...love to hear from people who are living in houses with hrv and what type of stoves they have and what generally they think of hrv in general..is it worth the money and hassle????

    Hi, Have you an air source already installed/ considered? And what A-T result did you get?

    hey again, my air source is hrv...but if you mean for stove i was thinking of drilling out through extenal wall and bringing in a pipe to connect to back of stove or else a 4"pipe from back of stove going up into attic...ya did a preliminery air tightness test and man said very good results and i should expect a reading of around 3 when final one is done....
