How to remove Siemens Stacking shelf?

Hi I have a Siemens xl1600 washing machine with a txl dryer on top. There is a Siemens Stacking shelf with a pull out drawer between the two. This evening I tried to separate the machines but they will not budge. I have looked on the net for an instruction manual but I can't find anything. Does anyone know how this set up…
