Blank gaps in the EPG

Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem the past few days where there are a large amount of blank gaps in the EPG, particularly once you get past next Monday or so, or listings that say "Information for this programme is not currently available"? Is it just me or has anyone else been finding the same thing?

Some of them have finally been updated today but most of them still haven't. I've tried rebooting the boxes in the house here to see would they download an updated EPG but to no avail, they still come up with the blank gaps. As I said, a few of them have finally been filled in properly at some point today but there's still a lot that haven't. Is it just a case of UPC being a bit slow in updating their EPG listings for next week or what?

Come to think of it, does anyone know how UPC actually updates their EPG, is it done by someone manually checking listings and updating the EPG by hand at UPC HQ or is it done automatically from, say, some online TV listings service and it's then sent from UPC HQ down the lines to the customer's house or what?

Company called Red Bee in the UK used to do it. Broadcasters pay them a fee and send their listings to Red Bee who then process them and they get updated onto the various platforms EPGs. Red Bee look after both channels and platforms. In Ireland they look after both UPC and Saorview. Think they also power the Sky EPG.

A lot of the time it's a case of what you put is is what you get out so if the broadcaster doesn't provide all the info parts of the EPG will be blank (leaving aside any tech hitches).
