In the Wicklow People this week.....

Social Welfare inspectors will have the power to access bank accounts of people on the dole without their consent under the terms of a new bill which comes before the Dáil next week. Big Brother flexes his muscles that little bit more.

So, why not have access to everyone's account - employed, or unemployed. Would also combat fraud etc.

This is not a forum to discuss what may or may not happen with SW as it may cause undue worry and stress for claimants. If you wish to discuss policies of govt. departments perhaps Irish Economy/Politics would be more suitable forums.
