... where might I go to get lenses put into it?

I'm ordering some goggles for Airsofting and they have a prescription insert:

Now the company that makes the product in America can fit it when you supply your prescription (and I've had a test done recently and have the necessary details), but it's at a very hefty premium.

So, I'm gonna be looking for somewhere in Dublin (city Centre preferably) that wouldn't mind me handing over the frame and prescription and just making up the lenses to fit. If anyone has any suggestions, I would be most thankful :)

It really depends on the insert, some of them need a specific machine to cut the lenses.Everywhere will say it's at your own risk because they won't be able to replace the frame if it snaps (unusual but happens)

I'd try Dixon Hempenstall on Suffolk St coz they deal with unusual frames. Also try the National Optometry Centre on Kevin St.

I can glaze that type of insert no problem. I have glazed inserts for cycling glasses and shooting glasses. If you visit my site www.buynewspecs.ie under the reuse your frame category you can see how much we charge. Pm me if you want more information.
