Wanted: Hybrid bike €250 or less.

Looking for a hybrid/city bike in good condition. My Trek 6000 was stolen so am looking for a low budget city bike before I fork out for a decent hard tail again.

Something along the lines of the below:

Trek FX 7.3
Specialized Sirrus
Cube Curved
La Pierre Shaper 500

I am 5' 8'' so a Medium, or 53/54cm frame.

Lugsb i dont want to hijack this thread, you got there before me, so in the interest of fairness you have first refusal on all offers, as long as i can have second refusal.

Is that fair or even allowed on Boards ?

Hi, thanks for the response, appreciate it. I'd prefer something with a few more gears as I'll use it for short cycles near Sandymount beach and Poolbeg, there is a short steep hill that you can build up some speed on the return leg.

I'm 5'9", and was looking for 52 - 54, 56 at a push I reckon.

Hi folks,

My sister-in-law gave me this bike a couple of weeks ago to give it a bit of a once-over before selling it. - So I got my toolbox out and knocked about 60% off the asking price straight away!!

I'm not actually sure what size the frame is - will have a look when I get home.
I rode this bike for about 6 weeks around this time last year and it gave me back the cycling bug which I had sadly lost in my early twenties. After a few weeks riding it I went out and bought my own. I'm 5'7 and it fitted me well.

She's happy to let me look after the sale - so I'll PM my details to LugsB first and if that doesn't work out I'll get in touch with you Rua_ri.

Sound fair?

Folks - I bought the Trek 7.3 FX from El.duderino. It is in excellent condition and cycles really well. Might get some new pedals, grips and a saddle just to give it the "new" look.

For any future readers, would still be interested in a La Pierre Shaper 500 as well!
