    Anyone know how to transfer e books onto tablet, emailed them to my self in the hope the kindle app would open them, but this did not work. Any books I did transfer went into adobe and not into the reader?

    Don't know if you can add books not bought from amazon into the amazon ap.
    Try Aldiko, nice little ebook app.

    Is the Sony Reader app not working now? Try tapping the briefcase icon (top right) and then "Scan Storage".

    What format are the books in?

    Downloaded an app AREADER seems to work, reads most formats, pages dont look great but maybe will improve with updates, thanks anyway
