Clonsilla - Dalkey

    Has anybody taken the Clonsilla / Dalkey line recently ? How long does it normally take, morning times. Was looking at the 6.54 train

    It will say how long it should take on the irish rail website, add another 5-10 minutes to be safe.

    I had a look on the Irish rail site said 1.05 hours.

    Looking at the journey planner there's a 20 minute wait between trains at Connolly (click on the "i"). It is being conservative. In fact the Clonsilla train is due in Connolly at 0720 and there is a DART at 0725 which would get you to Blackrock for 0742 - total journey time of 48 minutes.

    Now if the Clonsilla train is late the journey will probably take the 1 hour 3 minutes.
