Just wondering does anyone know how long should I have to wait for this?

When I used to work in finance it took me about one minute to load up the payroll software and print the P45, and about another minute to put it in the envelope for that evening's post. Note though this would all be done after you have been paid your last wage so your payroll details are up-to-date.

So I think about one week after you have gotten your final wage is reasonable.

Thanks it's just pure laziness as far as I can see. The accounts person does not even have the decency to reply to emails. I think I have no choice but to contact revenue on them. Do I just ring revenue and ask them to contact the company?ThanksP

Mate of mine was made redundant last Friday ... P45 arrived in the post on Wednesday morning

Yeah if you ring revenue they will either give you your tax details over the phone or will contact the company on your behalf.

You could also try dropping into your old employer and waiting at reception. I used to do credit control and the show up at their doorstep trick was very successful...
