Buying games online from Europe?

I know to make sure the games are in the PAL format, which is normal for Europe as far as I know, and the eBay seller of a game I'm interested in has assured me the game will run in the language the console is configured for, but will all games adjust to the player's language, and is there any way most games' manuals and box covers will be in English?

Playstations are region free, so you never have to worry about PAL. You can play games from anywhere in the world on your PS3. Some of the popular games (eg. Fifa) give you the option to change the language, but its never a gaurantee. A game from Spain will generally have Spanish text all over it, but the language might be changable.

Google the game and check it out maybe?

I used to live in Germany and always ordered my games from an english website as i just couldn't be sure the game would play in english if bought in Germany.
