Does anyone know the name of the application, or motion or whatever it is caused to result in a High Court case being brought forward for an urgent hearing as a matter of urgency?

My case is an employment personal injury case, by what grounds can this be granted?

You're talking about having a case specially fixed I think. Normal practice is to only grant these where there is an appreciable risk of one of the parties dying or where numerous witnesses need to travel from abroad.

You would need to have an EXTREMELY good reason to get priority otherwise.

Thanks for getting back to me.

It would be where the case/trial is brought forward for a early date, as a matter of urgency.

Would grounds of me being in severe ill health be grounds for this?

What is the name of such an action? Would it be a motion, or ex parte application? I am not familair with legal terms, the name of such an action would be very helpful to me

Ask your solicitor. Advice as to how to proceed can't be given here, sorry. I hope it works out for you.
