    I´ve always thought the Blues Junior was a pretty bland amp and it is certainly not in the same class as your classic Fenders - Bassman, Deluxe Reverb etc.

    I can´t comment on the Peavey.

    Search for my recent thread on low power tube amps for more suggestions.

    I´m going to make a similar purchase in May and will be going for the Laney Lionheart 5w.
