    Hi,

My tax credits are going up next week(just got my new tax credit cert yesterday) what I'm wondering is will I get a refund for the past 18 weeks ?

Also if you don't use all your tax credits in a year can you claim them back the following year ? ( I only work part time)

    Thank you :)

Depending on your pay and if it the cert has been issued on a normal cumulative basis, you may get a refund of tax overpaid for this tax year in your wages.
Unused tax credits do not roll over onto the following tax year.
