    Hi folks,

Are there any good sports bars in the city? We are looking for a place with a big screen to watch the Heiniken Cup and Champions Leage final on 19th May.

In Salthill if you want to stray that far, the Oslo has a big screen.

Busker Browns best for rugby in Cross Street, proper rugby bar, footie will be on afterwards as well or you could go around the corner to Living Room or the Dew Drop for that, either way Latin Quarter is best place to park

    FYP.

Agree with the above, you could choose any of Dew Drop, Kellys, Front Door, Dail, Quays etc. Some with food some without and all in the busiest part of town.

Im going to be different here and say Monroes - its a big bar with tv' in nearly every corner, two large screens also, always gets a great atmosphere, usually you get nibbles to chow down on during match, and music straight afterwards - its a great venue.

(oh, and Monroes is situated in the West of the town, about 10 minutes from the "pretend latin quarter" situated in the authentic Left Bank of Galway City. :p:p:p
