Hi, Not sure if this is the best place for this thread as it's about a PS3, Modem and Hard drive but anyway.

I got my new HG556a modem from vodafone today, plugged my hard drive into it and mapped the network drive on my windows 7 laptop, perfect. All 3 of us in the house can access the files on the HDD wirelessly from anywhere in the house.

I thought the Media Server setting on the PS3 might do the same thing but it isn't finding the hard drive.

Is there a way to get it to recognise the hard drive so we can stream movies from the HDD to the PS3 and watch big screen on the TV?
