Process for selling iPhone

    Hi guys,

    Hoping someone here can help...
Due to some cost cutting measures I'm not renewing my Vodafone contract on my iPhone 4 at the end of the month. My plan is to go back to a PAYG phone until the iPhone 5 comes out and hopefully my finances will have improved by then :P So I'm going to sell my iPhone, I know to revert to factory settings but what else do I need to do to make the phone saleable? In terms of the iPhone sim, what do I do? Remove it and let the buyer get his own one? (I want to keep my number) It's a Vodafone iPhone, should I get it unblocked to make it more valuable or is this dodgy?! Any other tips or help is much appreciated!

    Batm!ke :)

Restore to factory via itunes and let buyer have their own SIM.
If you are eligible for unlock, get it as it makes phone easier to sell.

You still have box and accessories? Receipt?

    Thanks for the reply Biko!

Yes, have the box, and in terms of accessories have the charger cable and headphones, I'd have to do a bit of digging under the bed for the receipt though :pac:, can't see why I would have chucked it away though.

How and where would I be eligible for an unlock?

If you've been with Vodafone long enough they will unlock it for free.
Ring them www.vodafone.ie/helpsupport/contactus/ or go into a VF shop and ask.
