    How do,

As above i have a built in phone to my armrest.

Just wondering has anyone ever used one, and can it be used through the speaker or do you actually have to use it as you would use a normal phone?

i can't see a button to switch between the phone and the stereo, but the stereo seems to have all the buttons as if the phone were usable through it.

(Tried registering on a Jaguar forum but they think i'm a spammer, lol).

I would be thinking you have to put your sim card in to the phone for it to work. I doubt it works in conjunction with bluetooth on your phone as if this was the case they would just have the functionality on the car and not bother.fitting one in the armrest.

I happened upon this Jaguar site today, it has a lot of documents on servicing and Jag manuals, maybe you can find something there? It definitely has a number of documents around a v60i telephone kit under the X Type...

    Hope it helps.

You need a sim card I would imagine. We have one on a 2005 C5 and it routes everything through the stereo and even has a little dial pad on the dash panel.

i left that out. i put my sim into the phone and it works perfectly, through the phone. But you have to have the phone up to your ear.

On the dash there are phone buttons and when the sim is in, if you press the hang up button it says "No phone".
