Is he any good. I've been reading around and a lot of people refer to him giving a "life" reading. What does this mean exactly? Does it mean it's very general and if so, why do some people say he's brilliant? (I usually note people say a psychic blew them away when they are specific with details they could not have known)

So I went. Total and utter disappointment, especially after reading reviews here. He is not a psychic. Kept asking questions, drawing inferences, most of which were totally and utterly wrong, but kept asking until he could say something was right. Told me and my friend the exact same things: There's a house in your family for generations, there will be a wedding, a christening, etc.
    Waste of money

Just like "is there someone living with your parents?" No, "Well, there was at some stage, they were looking after someone?" No. Then "Who was in the house before your parents.?" Me: The people they bought it from. Him: That's it, I could sense someone elses presence (!), did something bad happen to one of those people?" Me: No, I still know them them and they're fine.

"Your partner is a tall guy isn't he?" No
"your dad likes football?". Not particularly "Well does he watch it on telly?" me: yes sometimes. And then he acted like he got it right.

But Sala that's how they all work. Some are better at Cold Reading than others.

There are some genuine psychics/mediums out there, the good ones usually have a very long waiting list. That's not how they all work. Some ppl yes, but not all.

I know a couple of people who went to him - one was a friend and the other was my cousin - and they thought he was very good. In the case of my friend, Noel was able to tell from his palm that he had lived in a foreign country prior to coming here (he grew up in Australia but was born here). There were a few other things that he said Noel pinpointed without needing to ask him questions as well. I can't remember what they were now, but he was impressed with the whole thing.

As for my cousin, she said Noel described her then-current circumstances very well. When he was reading her palm, he told her that it looked like there had been a disintegration of her life structure of late, but it was connected with her career path. He was saying she had lost her way, or something. Well, she had dropped out of her course at college just a few months before and was agonising over what to do next, etc. He predicted that she'd find a "signpost" to point her in the right direction within six months, and that she'd begin working in connection with something foreign and indirectly with the public within a year. Turns out he was right about that.

She was also saying that Noel could tell by looking at two separate cards that 1) she had poor long-sighted vision, and 2) that she didn't/doesn't want to have kids during her life because the maternal instinct is absent in her. She doesn't wear glasses or squint, BTW. She's still waiting to see if some other predictions unfold, but she was saying afterwards and a bit later on that she didn't feel Noel was cold reading her and thought he was a very nice bloke.

I've yet to try out a reading from him, so I can't be 100% certain about him, but what he accurately predicted for my cousin was/is pretty encouraging.

BTW, I think it was me who said Noel seems to give "life readings," based on the two of them describing the reading. Like, he doesn't tell people things like, "You'll have a dispute with a neighbour in a month's time," but covers people's life direction (or the lack of it) and any issues and events, often pertaining to career. That sort of thing.

I don't know how he got things so wrong for you by comparison. Did you not think of asking him to end the reading - and allow you to hold on to your cash - about 10 minutes into it? You're entitled to do that.

Yes he is nice, but that doesn't make up for the fact it was pointless.
I know you can stop it after 10 minutes but there first half hour or more he reads your palm which may not be that insightful but was interesting nonetheless. But it all went down hill from the card reading. And the fact that he asked my friend teh exact same questions and told her the same things is a bit risiculous, cold reader or not. We both went to Gareth as well and while nothing specific has come through for me, it has for her, he was much better

I went to see Noel recently. Really Lovely man, enjoyed the palm reading, I dont know how I feel about the card reading. I found that some of the things he said he saw in the cards were a little bit irrelevant. Sometimes I thought he was cold reading, however he did hit on some interesting points. Honestly didnt come out of there feeling wowed, He missed some things that are going on in my life at the minute which are really affecting me and when i asked him at the end he said he didnt see it in my cards. I have been to Grainne on south william street and she was very good at telling me what was happening at the minute but her future predictions were off. Just have to wait and see what happens with Noel. Has anyone else been to him recently??
