broadband for 6 months

Hello... new here, I have a question.
I'm new to Ireland, and I'll be here for 6 months for an internship. I've found an apartment, and now I want internet of course. However, the place is wired for UPC, who has happily informed me that "sure, I can have internet for 6 months, I'll just pay a 100e cancellation fee"
    Great! Thanks! >: (
So, what are my options for getting the internet for 6 months without paying crazy fees?

Between this, and the general state of public transportation (dublin is apparently only for car owners!), I'm starting to really regret coming to Ireland for my internship! :( siiiigh.

Any help will be greatly appreciated :)

Patrick, that does seem nice, but I can't seem to find where I can see if I am eligible for it or not? I imagine the place needs to have the right cables in place, or some such.

Also, in their terms and conditions, "A cancellation fee of €50 will be applied to your final invoice."
I mean, it beats the 100e at UPC, but that's a nice hidden fee there! (they don't seem to mention it anywhere on the actual website other than that pdf..)
