I just inquired about this car for sale in mallow. he is a dealer who buys and sells cars but this is a private sale.
and took this as a trade in today and admitted it needed a tensioner in the front, im wondering are these expensive? it seems crazy cheap to be honest and im also wondering has anyone also had any dealings with him?
he also has no log book so what do ye think would be the best way to do this deal? could i ring shannon and just inquire? or should i leave a deposit?

Sounds like a guy selling cars on the side and not actually registered as a trader. I'm sure Revenue would be very interested in his story.

OP, walk away is my advice. I can hear the spurs on this guy's boots from here.
