Name this tool

Double Barrel

Someone gave this tool 30+ years ago, I obviously know what it's intended purpose is but can someone tell me if it has a name.
No maker's stamp or mark or any mark for that matter.
Anyone ever seen another?

it is called a bench clamp.....that is a posh on....most were made of wood.

Its looks like a wedge bench stop. Here's a wooden example:

Here's a picture of a metal wedge bench stop - looks almost identical to yours

Great find PMack, look's to be a dead ringer for mine. :cool:

My bench has tail and shoulder vise's so the wedge stop does not get used all that much in the shop but outdoors or in the house for repairs it get used often.
I have cobbled together wooden versions in a pinch for sawhorse work.
