Tiling Bathroom and Ensuite

Getting the En-suite and Bathroom tiled. Roughly 20sq Mtr each. We're supplying all the tiles and fittings etc, happy enough with those.

Quote looks a bit strange though.

Tiler €800 - looks ok to me. He's very good too!

Plumber - €220 (removal and put back of sanitary ware) looks ok to?

Other - €1800 ( includes fitting cost only of two towel racks, making recessed spaces*2 and fitting plasterboard floors and removal of some tiles roughly 6sq metres)

That last bit sounds mad to me?

Chrome heated towel rails are only 65-70 euro in most builders providers and plumbers merchants.

    Plasterboard floor???

No way should plasterboard be used for any type of flooring.:eek:

Floor should be fitted with 18mm thick WPB Plywood and then tiled over.

An 8 x 4 feet sheet of 18mm thick WPB Plywood is only 25 euro in a builders providers.

any other work going on,are the walls being plasterboarded, ceilings being re skimmed, electrics moved about anything like that,is the bathroom and en suite being gutted beforehand?

    As described above :

Including two cut outs of recessed space.

Possible Plasterboards refitted where old tiles are removed (bath and shower only) .
