TV show similar to Starman possibly called code name Nathanial?

    I'm in a mad retro mood this evening after seeing
    the Time Tunnel available on DVD along with Land of the Giants and all
    of the six million dollar man and manimal for pre-order.

    I remembered the TV series Starman today. (After the film) some episodes
    are available on you tube. There was another more modern TV show that
    was done in the late 90's possible that had a similar theme.

    Alien dude lands on earth, takes on Human form, goes about the place doing
    good deeds, and bad guys pursue. Ring any bells for anyone ?

    I had thought it may have been named something like
    Code Name Nathanial

    [EDIT: Found the Show!! Code Name: Eternity and the Lead Character was called Ethaniel]
