I'm not even sure this is a good idea for a thread to be honest.

I was out lamping foxes last night and could see four boats and the SAR helicopter out looking for the missing fisherman off Mace Head.

    http://www.rte.ie/news/2012/0424/the-search-for-a-fisherman-will-resume-today.html

Today there are a lot more boats, reported over 25 and I see what I think may be the fisheries patrol plane about the area.

A very sad story and certainly not the first around these parts.

After an extensive search the body of the fisherman was recovered RIP

Well done to the many SAR crews involved in the search, it never ceases to amaze me the way our local communities turn up in the worse type of weather conditions to offer what assistance they can at these times.
