off road bike trails kilkenny

    Hi guys dose anyone know of any good hard trails in or near kilkenny. Im just getting started in mountain biking so i only know a couple of spots witch are very boring.

    Not sure about the whole route, but the East and North stretch is a tarmac lane. Narrow, nice scenic route. One of my favourites in the area, but I cycle there on a road bike.
    Anyway Jim, if you are going that direction some day and if you are fancy company, let me know please ;).

    Didn't know strava made it that easy.
    Most of that spin is fire road, I just used it for uphill interval training on winter eves. There are some trails bordering on singletrack in the lower parts of that forest but they are popular with people on horses and generally the bike doesn't go where the horses have been unfortunately.
