The zag family European summer odyssey is starting to shape up again. I'm taking the car over in the boat and she is flying to Rennes with the mini zags. En route from Cherbourg I will stop off there and pick them up. We are going to spend a few days there on the way back too and she is going to fly home from there while I drive home.

Does anyone have any suggestions for hotels in Rennes ? We need one for the first day (arrive by plane about 2000 I think, so really just an over nighter) and then one for the 4 of us for a few days on the way back. I'm going to start researching the various review sites but wanted to check in with the boardsies first.

For the few days stay we would be interested in somewhere central or with easy access to the city centre on the metro. For the overnight, anything functional will do.
