Morning all, We are introducing yoga for golf to our club this evening. Mainly aimed for the juniors but giving it a go myself.

Has anyone done this and have you found it beneficial for you golf game?

Yeah I went to a few classes with the intention of learning the basics and then doing it at home myself. Well that didn't really work out but the yoga was very good for balance, flexibility and quietting the mind. I must give it another go.

its with anne marie? i went to a couple of sessions(about 12 classes in all) last year in carlton and found them very good. shes a very good teacher, great manner & knows her stuff.

i only did the beginner level but found a definite benefit in flexibility and balance. only reason i stopped going is because we had a new arrival here and all hands were needed. will def go back though.

Very Impressed Golfnut. She was very gentle with us with it being the first lesson for most of us. I imagine she will crank it up in the coming weeks.

Felt great after it and wanted to go straight out to the course. Have a number of stretching exercises that I will be working on before the next session

Good stuff. The classes I did were not golf specific but still worthwhile.I really should try it again just a matter of time to do it.
