Repeating Leaving Cert

Ok so basically, I did fairly terribly in my Leaving Cert (2011), and have done a PLC (since September), but I haven't done great in that either.
I want to do the work now and I'm applying to repeat in Cork College of Commerce.
My parents have given up on me since my Leaving Cert and aren't giving me any financial support what so ever. I've relied on the grant for the PLC course so far.
ANYWAY... My question, is it possible to get a loan out to support me for that year while repeating the Leaving Cert or... not? I know the grant won't. Or are there any other means of surviving, it's mostly just living costs.
    Thanks in advance. :D

You could get a job in the evenings and weekends.

How come you're suddenly going to work now, when you didn't for your Leaving or the PLC course? What has changed?
