    Hi all

Is the PDE in Ireland recognised to teach secondary school level in Switzerland and other European countries or would you need to do some kind of add-on?

    Thanks

A guy in my class in college has been teaching in Switzerland for the last 11 or 12 years since we left college. He did Science Education with me in UL, so I guess it's recognized out there. Think he got the job when the Swiss schools were advertising over here in the summer and holding interviews in Dublin. He works in an English speaking school.

Yes it is, as there is a European Mobility Directive with qualifications etc so I think you must be registered/qualified in your home country in order to be qualified in another European state.
