High Res Scanning

Hi Guys I have a couple of 10 x 8 prints that I would loved to get scanned to disk so I could get them printed as canvas prints. Do they need to be scanned at a High Res, anyone recommend some where south or west Dublin to get these scanned to disk and approx cost Thanks
