Following up after rejection email

Applied for a job two months ago and quickly got called for an interview. Brief interview/informal enough but still went well (seemed to me that all was good anyway). A couple of days later I got the good old rejection email stating that they will keep me on file and I replied to that saying thanks for getting in touch/keep me in mind etc.

I've a feeling that there could be a couple more jobs coming up soon - would it be wrong to send them another mail now to say that I'm still interested in working for them or would this come off as just bizarre?

No it wouldn't be bizarre. Just send the email.

Send the mail, no action = no reaction....
