    Hey all

Just announcing that we here in DCU are again holding a grappling competition this year. It will take place on April 28th. Sorry for the short notice as the venue only became open to us over the weekend after a long process. All student card holders are eligable so lets spread the word to the colleges/universities/ITs around the country.

Basic Rules are no leg locks/neck cranks. Win by submission only or first takedown tiebreaker.

    More info to follow

Just like to say a serious congratulations Oisin for bringing yet another year of grappling to the colleges. Was wondering will weight divisions be the same as last year I presume?

Could you please provide more details on this?

Times, location, weight categories etc. With being such short notice (4 days) this sort of information is vital, especially for people who would be travelling 100+ miles to attend and need to get transport in place.

Why not. We'll run either divisions or an absolute depending on number of entrants.

I have a student card for this year from DBS without a photo. Am I cool to enter using that?

If it's got your name on it and you've got something with your face and name on it as well I'm sure there won't be an issue.
