Reporting abuse

Do you think a minor (under the age of 18) should report this abuse to the Guards?

It was 2 occasions, the person was a relative, but not a parent

    - first occasion: Relative Throws several punches in the back of a car to the teen.

    - second occasion: Relative hits teen across face, knocking the teens glasses off.

    Yes or No?

I want to keep this anonymous for myself, so that's all I'm saying.

    Opinions appreciated

    All abuse should be reported.
    End of story.

When it differs from a controlled slap for being bold and extends into long term physical and mental abuse, there is no question.

Note: One has to be able to differentiate between 'abuse' and proper appropriate punishment.
The former is bad, the latter is sometime in moderation, a necessary action - but should always be done right!

Even if it's a relative? Meaning it could cause break-up in family?

The All bit in Biggin's post is good advice. Abusers should never be allowed to get away with it, whoever they are.

As in the minor should report it to his oul pair. They are his/her guardians, they should know the full story and then further action could be taken

This is not really AH material. If a crime has been committed contact the guards. If you're unsure contact a solicitor.
