    Friend of mine got one. Had to get it replaced after a week. Replacement is now 3 months old and he has to bring it back again as its won't switch on half the time. If it was me I wouldn't.

    I wouldn't buy anything with moving parts in Woodies. Stick to the cheap briquettes.

    The last thing I bought that did have moving parts was a petrol strimmer for 140 euros. Broke after the 6th or 7th use. I brought it back to them, they lost it and gave me someone else's strimmer, which broke after about 3 goes.

    Woodies = beyond useless.

    There's a web address on the box to deal with repairs. Try it and see what info you get when you go to it.

    To the original poster -

    Who wants to deal with repairs etc? Just go to a retailer that doesn't sell cheap crap that breaks after a few uses. There are plenty of shops that supply good quality golf trolley and there are a few threads on here about the various brands. None are as cheap as this trolley in Woodies, but somehting that lasts for years is good value ( as opposed to something that only last a few months ).

    For somone that has already bought faulty goods, you have my sympathies.....

    RUN ....... save up your money and get a golf glider. Irish made, I bought mine in 1998 and its still going strong. They are very reliable workhorses and will take the abuse without falling apart over a few bumps.

    I have nothing to do with the company, I just think its great we have a good Irish product and believe we should support it.

    OP this sounds like excellent advice, I'd take it if I were you.

    I have nothing to do with any reseller of golf products, nor with Dtoffee, nor with any manufacturer of golf products.

    The point I was making is that there is no website, therefore little or no aftersales support apart from Woodies!

    Have to say don't know why people buy outside of powakaddy.

    I went to buy one this year for the first time, but after watching them come into common use and all the brands, the only one that no one complains about is powakaddy.

    I picked up the Freeway new model, for €350 from the local pro. Light as a feather, lengthy warranty, efficent battery.

    One of the lads playing with me Saturday had some brand and said he cant get it replaced cause they went out of business, hill billy or something
