So who was the boards driver of the day? Impossible not to be impresed by Raikkonen moving from 11th to second but Vettel was faultless throughout the weekend as well. Grosjean and di Resta impressed me greatly

Has to be Kimi. Gave it his best shot and I would imagine got the maximum from the car.

Kimi also, made up quite a few places & gave Vettel a run for his money at times.

Honourable mentions to Schumacher, coming from 22nd, & Di Resta held on well too

Gave it to Vettel. Primarily for a great show of defensive driving under severe pressure from Kimi.

Great drives from Kimi,Grosjean and Schumacher too.

Lads, you're missing the point. The best driver was Vettel. "Kimi gave Vettel a run for his money, therefore he is best." WTF? Vettel blocked him and kept ahead of him with a car that was loosing grip faster than Kimi. Most of you know I'm a huge Kimi fan, but Seb was by far the best driver at the weekend.

    Paul di Resta
Kimi was the most exciting and Vettle drove a dominant race keeping Kimi at distance which was good, however I gave my vote to Grosjean for a first podium. It's hard between the three.

Look where Kimi started from though. Did Vettel even overtake anyone?

Exactly why Kimi should get driver of the race.

How many places did Vettel make up.

He won the race and thats all that matters. Schumacher over took the majority of the grid but he finished 10th. Overtaking doesnt mean anything at the end of the day its the result that counts.

    what.?
You mean 2nd is not a good result :P

But by that logic, any driver who wins a race is automatically driver of the day. Why have a poll in such a case?

I feel the opposite, & how a driver races his own particular race determines a 'driver of the day' irrespective of the race end result.

I'd go with kimi, considering he's Was away for a bit and cars and tyres have changed, pretty solid drive

If you look at when Kimi had the big look he fell away a lot after the move, his tyres seemed to go off very quickly from then.

Worded my reponse poorly. Vettle drove a near perfect race, just because he didnt overtake lots of people doesnt mean he doesnt deserve the driver of the day.

    Ah, my bad :o

Also, will Schumachers run of bad luck ever end?

Im gutted for Schumacher every time (without fail) that it looks like he will get a good run something outside his control messes up his weekend.

It's heart-breaking stuff. I wasn't an F1 fan during his glory days, but I'd really love to see him win one more time before he's gone for good :(

I think all his bad results this year are well outside of his control. As solid as ever in practice and qualifying like in the old days. The win will come soon I think.

Drivers of the day for me were Schumacher and Raikkonen. Thought Rosberg was a bit flat after the win in China.
