    I seen this on the Etihad website, they have an open day at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin.

    Come and attend our Open Day to learn more about a career with Etihad. The Open Day begins at 9 am and finishes at 5 pm.

    To be considered for the team, you must appear in person and submit your CV with both full length and passport photographs. You must be aged 21 or over at the time of joining, have 2 years customer service experience, a positive attitude and be physically fit.

    Has anyone been to one of these things before? If so have you any advice? Does your appearance matter? As in would they do a mini-interview with yeah there and then?

    This type of event is effectively a screening process, they typically interview everyone for a few minutes and then say they will be in touch. You can guess for yourself the personal attributes they want and don't want.

    I'm intrigued as to what kind of IT jobs they'd have and whether they'd be here or in the UAE.

    Rather bored in what I do now, Microsoft sysadmin and able to learn how to support/maintain custom apps quickly...
